About the Private Residence:
This was a 25,000 sq. ft. custom home—high-end, fully personalized, and architecturally complex. Multiple floors, expansive open areas, outdoor zones, and a client who came in with a clear vision (and literal hand-drawn sketches). This wasn’t just about lighting a house—it was about engineering a cohesive lighting system that matched the design intent down to the last detail.
Scope & Execution:
We were brought in to design and build lighting for every part of this home: grand entry, stairwells, living areas, bedrooms, closets, cabanas, and the entire pool zone. Everything was custom—from the shape and material of the fixtures to the lumen output and dimming protocols.
Client Collaboration:
This client was hands-on. They gave us original concept sketches and trusted us to run with it. That meant taking napkin drawings and turning them into scalable, manufacturable, high-performance fixtures. We went through multiple prototype rounds, iterated based on real feedback, and delivered fixtures that felt intentional in every space.
Technical Detail:
The fixtures had to meet a broad range of requirements—clean integration into millwork, uniform color temp across mixed environments, sealed builds for outdoor zones, and driver compatibility across a residential control system. Everything was engineered, tested, and built in-house to guarantee consistency.
Impact:
We didn’t just light a residence—we helped complete it. This wasn’t a spec job; it was a full end-to-end design + build lighting solution. The end result? A home that looks incredible and performs exactly how the client envisioned. That’s the kind of execution we bring when design and detail actually matter.
