About Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino:
This is a high-end resort in Messinia, Greece—designed to merge top-tier luxury with sustainability. Everything on-site has to hit the mark both visually and environmentally. That’s where we came in.
Project Overview:
The ask: engineer and build custom lighting that elevates the guest experience without compromising on sustainability. Our job was to blend design precision with environmental discipline—no shortcuts.
Collaborative Build:
We partnered directly with TEMES S.A. and worked alongside the resort’s internal design team. The process was hands-on, iterative, and focused. Every fixture we developed had to align with Mandarin Oriental’s brand—luxury, minimalism, and local resonance.
Tailored Fixture Design:
We didn’t ship catalog items. We built everything from the ground up. Materials, finishes, light quality—it all had to enhance the architecture while tying back to the natural elements of the region. Custom was the only option.
Sustainability Focus:
Fixtures had to meet strict environmental requirements. That meant dialing in energy consumption, leveraging responsible materials, and making sure everything was built to last—not just look good.
