About Motif on Music Row:
Set in the heart of Nashville, Motif is a boutique hotel that doesn’t try too hard—because it doesn’t have to. With extended-stay suites, a rooftop pool, and a Music Row address, it’s the kind of place that lets its vibe do the talking. Our job was to build a lighting system that elevated the guest experience without becoming the center of attention.
Project Execution:
We focused on clean, functional design across three key areas—bathroom mirrors, hallway sconces, and surface-mount ceiling fixtures. Everything had to work seamlessly, hold up under hotel traffic, and enhance the space instead of overpowering it.
What We Delivered:
Mirror Lighting: We engineered mirror fixtures that were soft enough for guest comfort but bright enough for actual use. No glare, no shadows—just solid performance.
Sconce Fixtures with Function: Custom hallway sconces were integrated with ADA-compliant signage—room numbers, Braille, and all—so the lighting wasn’t just decorative, it was smart.
Minimalist Surface Mounts: We deployed flush surface-mount fixtures that feel like they’re floating. The idea was to create calm, not clutter. Clean edges, no visual noise.
Design Philosophy:
The goal here wasn’t to make a statement—it was to support one. Everything we built for Motif was meant to feel effortless. Lighting that blends into the background and quietly improves the way the space feels. Form + function, always.
Impact:
Guests don’t comment on great lighting—but they feel it. That’s the win. We helped create a hospitality experience that’s comfortable, cohesive, and completely dialed in to the Motif brand. If you’ve stayed there, you’ve seen our work—you just didn’t realize it. And that’s exactly how we like it.
