ermany has always played a key role in how I approach international manufacturing. It is one of the most advanced production markets in the world, especially in high-tech lighting and precision manufacturing. That is why we have labs and partners on the ground there, and why I make it a point to visit regularly.
When I’m in Germany, I spend time with our partners, meet with clients, and walk the trade shows that shape the future of lighting and retail environments. Germany hosts some of the largest and most important exhibitions in these sectors, and being here keeps me close to what’s next.
For me, Germany acts as our central hub for operations across Europe. Its manufacturing sector represents nearly a third of the EU’s total value added, and more than 7 million people are employed in the industry. That is nearly double what you see in Italy, which ranks second in the EU for manufacturing jobs.
The country is built for industrial scale, and it shows. When I’m visiting our German partners, I am not just reviewing output. I am picking up on new techniques, better workflows, and ways we can elevate our production across other regions. It is a market where efficiency and precision are non-negotiable.
Germany’s location is also a key advantage. From here, I can easily move between other European production sites and supplier meetings. It allows me to scale Ideoli’s operations across the continent without losing visibility or speed.
The truth is, no destination is too far if it helps me improve the business. Every country we build into our strategy has a purpose. Germany gives us world-class manufacturing, direct access to innovation, and a launch point for the entire European market.
That is why we are here, and that is why we keep coming back.
